JYJ’s Jaejoong Upset with His Puffed Up Face

JYJ’s Jaejoong Upset with His Puffed Up Face

JYJ’s Jaejoong expressed his displeasure with his supposedly swollen face. On February 9, Jaejoong tweeted, “My cheeks are too puffed up,” with the following picture.
In the photo, Jaejoong is seen in a super close up shot, wearing what looks to be ear muffins. His upset eyes reflect the disappointment in his swollen face, although fans were rather impressed by his pure, porcelain-like skin.

Some netizens, however, showed frustration over the clean-cut singer's comment, as they said, “What do you mean puffed up? Then what the heck am I?” “Jaejoong, you shouldn’t be saying that with your face,” “His skin looks so pure and clean.”
Meanwhile, Jaejoong just recently visited Turkey for a youth forum and attended a special dinner with South Korean President Lee Myung Bak at the Turkish Presidential Palace.
Here’s a photo of him from last year. Did his face really get bigger?

"The Moon that Embraces the Sun" Records Personal High of 42.5% for Real-Time Ratings

"The Moon that Embraces the Sun" Records Personal High of 42.5% for Real-Time Ratings

MBC’s “The Moon that Embraces the Sun” recorded 37.1% (AGB Nielsen) viewership ratings for its eleventh episode. While the overall ratings were the same as the tenth episode, “The Moon that Embraces the Sun” rewrote its personal high in real-time ratings hitting 42.5%, a 1.2% increase from last Thursday’s highest real-time ratings.
The real-time ratings hit 42.5% during the scene where Hwon (Kim Soo Hyun) and Wol (Han Ga In) enjoyed a puppet theater “date” outside palace walls. The two met coincidentally and, for a short moment, were able to let go of their social positions as king and shaman and enjoyed each other's presence.
Yesterday, we reported that Kim Soo Hyun was not the producers' first choice for King Hwon! Additionally, Kim Soo Hyun, who plays King Lee Hwon, and Song Jae Rim, who plays the King’s loyal bodyguard Woon, mimicked the “couple in the rain” scene done by child actors Kim Yoo Jung and Lee Min Ho in an earlier episode. Representatives from the drama ralso evealed that Kim Soo Hyun’s Ikseongwan [hat] had to be custom-made for him because of his small face. He also surprised his fellow cast and crew by treating them to 150 servings of hot pizza. Child actress Kim Yoo Jung mentioned that Kim Soo Hyun was her ideal type.
MBC will air the twelfth episode of “The Moon that Embraces the Sun” tonight at 9:55PM KST. Check out the preview with subs here!

First Look into Shin Se Kyung in "Fashion King"

First Look into Shin Se Kyung in "Fashion King"

Shin Se Kyung has taken off her hanbok and is on her way to becoming a fashion queen.

Shin Se Kyung, who played a girl with a photogenic memory in the popular drama, "Tree With Deep Roots," will now play an aspiring and talented fashion designer in the new drama, "Fashion King."

She will play Lee Ga Young, an aspiring fashion designer with a painful past of losing her parents in a fatal accident. She lives with her mother's friend, who was an employer at a clothing store.

Recently, the first filming session for Shin Se Kyung took place on the streets of Dongdaemun. She was spotted wearing a khaki green military jacket underneath a brown/gold/black shawl and a green polka dotted scarf that emphasizes her femininity. Her eye-catching fashion sense received much praise from the production staff who said, "It already seems like she completely got the character."

After the filming was finished, Shin Se Kyung said, "Since Lee Ga Young is supposed to have a natural gift for fashion and design, my coordinator and I pay extra attention to the outfits that I will be wearing." She continued to say later on, "Honestly, after 'Tree With Deep Roots' ended, I wanted to take a vacation and rest but as soon as I read over the synopsis and script for 'Fashion King,' I fell in love with Lee Ga Young's character so I didn't think twice before making my final decision to join the cast. It's the script's fault for preventing me from resting!"

"Fashion King" is a success story about aspiring fashion designers who started off in the small streets of the Dongdaemun market and later on becomes world-famous. "Fashion King" is being written by writers who have previously worked on "What Happened in Bali," "Thousand Years' Love," "Star in My Heart" and more.
